Ritu Beri: From Mumbai to London.
One of the leading female fashion designers in India is Ritu Beri, a name known to all fashion alerts. In the year 1987, Ritu completed her graduation from the Delhi University. During this interval which followed she was motivated to do something and she started designing outfits for herself and later created clothes for her friends. Ritu was quite a creative person from childhood and in the year 1988, she took admission in the National Institute of Fashion Technology, which has a F.I.T, New York affiliation and had just opened in Delhi. Ritu was in the first batch which had 25 students. In 1991, she started to design for Liberty, Regent Street, London.

Ritu Beri is immensely talented and this gave her the most favorable opportunity to get training with Francois Lesage, master creator and embroiderer, in Paris. The year 1995 marked for Ritu for her launching of the brand ‘SANSKRITI’. She had divided her collection into 4 sequences and her creations were the outcome of the vivacious Indian cultural heritage. The only Indian fashion designers to be featured in promostyl’s magazine ‘Acustyl’ which forecasts fashion trends worldwide is Ritu Beri. She has written a personal fashion book, ‘101 Ways to Look Good’. Ritu has introduced her new unique line of animal styled products range called ‘Caring means sharing’. The collection comprises T-shirts, caps, stuffed toys, jugs, notepads, posters, postcards, pens and key chains. Ritu is the first and the only Indian designer to present her creations at “la semaine de la haute couture” in Paris.

Dino Morea: The stud!

Dino Morea was born to Indian mother and an Italian father. He has remained a supermodel and was very much popular and renowned as a model. Before coming into films, he has appeared in a number of advertisements of which his advertisement of the ‘Live in Jeans’ was the most successful. He has even appeared in a controversial advertisement of ‘Calida’ with Bipasa Basu, the popular actress of Bollywood. This Sagittarian is not short of confidence; he has walked the ramp for many shows and has even won the ‘Gladrags Manhunt’ contest. He has spent 11 years of his life in Italy. The divine dimples on his cheeks have made girls go weak on their knees and he indeed has many girls fan following. Owing to maintain his six packs abs, he makes it a point to work out regularly.

His first on screen appearance in a film was ‘Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi’ opposite Rinkie Khanna, the youngest daughter of Rajesh Khanna and Dimple Kapadia. The film came in the year 1999 was a flop, but Dino Morea had won many female fans by then. Since this film, Dino has appeared in numerous Bollywood productions, which include: ‘Sssshhh’ where he was paired opposite Tannisha Mukherjee, daughter of Tanuja and also sister of Kajol, ‘Aksar’ where he appeared along with Emraan Hashmi, ‘Baaz: A Bird in Danzer’ opposite Karisma Kapoor. His most memorable film till date is the horror flick ‘Raaz’ , the movie was directed by Vikram Bhatt and he was paired opposite Bipasa Basu.

Arjun the handsome Rampal

Arjun Rampal is undoubtedly one of the most handsome actors of Indian film industry. He is first a super model then an actor. Arjun was born on 26th November, 1972. Arjun Rampal was a very famous model and he was discovered in a discotheque in Delhi by Rohit Bal. Arjun was a student of the prestigious Kodaikanal International School located in Palani Hills,Tamil Nadu. His mother was teacher in that school. The college form where he had graduated is Hindu College, in Delhi then. He is one of the most sought after male supermodels of India.

Arjun has appeared in a number of music videos which include one by Late Nusraat Fateh Ali Khan and by Rajiv Rai in ‘Don’t Marry’ with model Namrata Baruwah. His launchpad film in Bollywood film was ‘’Pyaar, Ishq Aur Mohabbat’ where he was paired opposite Kirti Reddy and had Suniel Shetty and Aftab Shivdashani in prominent roles. Though the film did not turn well at the box office, yet it helped Arjun have plenty of offers. He won the Award of the International Indian Film Academy for Face of the Year in 2002. His debut movie was originally ‘Moksha’ but it was released after ‘Pyaar, Ishq Aur Mohabbat’. Arjun’s other films include ‘Aankhen’, ‘Dil Hai Tumhaara’, ‘Yakeen’ and’Ek Ajnabee’. He has even done supporting role in films like ‘Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna’ and ‘Don – The Chase Begins Again’. His next big release will be ‘The Last Lear’. His negative role in ‘Om Shanti Om’ was very much appreciated
