Sharman Joshi: from STYLE to RDB. Sharman Joshi is an upcoming Indian actor and also a theatre personality. He made his debut in the year 1999 in the movie ‘Godmother’ as the troubled son of the protagonist, Shabana Azmi. Sharman received rave reviews for his performance Though Sharman is best known for his Hindi movies, he has appeared or worked in various English, Hindi, Gujarati stage productions. In the comedy movie ‘Style’ of 2001, Sharman had appeared. This movie became a surprise hit of the year. The movie was directed by N. Chandra and mostly had newcomers. Sharman was very active during his theatre and drama days. He has done over 330 shows since childhood and the most memorable is; ‘Aame Layee Gaya Tame Rahee Gaya’. The renowned theatre writer-actor Arvind Joshi is his father. He has done a small role in the film ‘Lajja’.
It was with the movie ‘Rang De Basanti’ that Sharman Joshi rose to the highest peak of his career, this multi-starrer movie brought instant fame for Sharman Joshi. This Rakesh Om Prakash Mehra film proved to be the biggest hit of all times. Shaman shared his screen with versatile actors like Aamir Khan and Atul Kulkarni. This movie brought him more offers and also haloed him in earning favorable reviews. His other commendable movies include ; the 2007 release ‘Life In A….Metro’ a super hit movie where Shamran was highly appreciated for his role, ‘Golmaal’, a comedy film.
